Check the versions of your XFree86 packages, e.g. "pkg_info | grep ^X". They should be similar versions, (not counting the port version part of the name after the '_' character) especially -clients and -libraries. If not, upgrade libraries first, then the other stuff as necessary.

  Hey,
      This is an error I get when installing the fonts collection for X.  I will also attach below the information from the XFree86 log file and my basic system info.  Thanx for any help!

  Really don't have much more information that would probably be useful .. newish to BSD :)  Or atleast new to having problems with it.
