very nice...

BTW most of these things seem to have <ESC> drop out of
graphics mode..
do you have something like that?
(or maybe <ESC> should go to loader prompt...?)

If I had a machine that it didn't work on I think I'd try hitting esc
  but I don't think I'd think of F7.
