Yup, it failed last night, their batteries only lasted 2 hours, it came back, failed, came back, failed, and has been down for nearly 18 hours now. It's another interconnect failure, just like the major outages this summer on a smaller scale; Stanford has its own power generation facility and they also take power from the grid, but the interconnect between the two facilities failed and so you get no power sources. BBN apparently didn't make the decision to put a generator in until late this morning (as opposed to last night when it was clear that there was a problem). The generator will be a permanent part of the facility, but it should have been already. That's what I meant by "grr" =) Too concise, as usual. Bill
