FYI. I tried iwi(4) before 6.0-RELEASE (on 6-RCx) series w/o any success. It was ad-hoc mode connection. If I properly recall w/ debug output enabled I got some invalid link state messages during association. Networks scan was ok. All the best, Alexander.
