I have a thinkpad 760xd and the generic kernel that ships with freebsd works ok but i needed firewall support so i copied GENERIC to laptop and added firewall rules. the firewall rules work ok but now it wont reboot it just syncs disks and hangs right there. so i was wondering what options the generic kernel is built with so i can recreate them in mine. I believe that the shipped kernel is not the same as one built with GENERIC label. this is 4.4-stable. anyone know the flags i need to make this thing reboot?
