Hello, I downloaded the PowerPC iso, burned it and attempted to boot my XServe (first gen). It came up with a "FreeBSD/Open Firmware/PowerPC bootstrap loader" which it said it was loading /boot/defaults/loader.conf. The little thing spun and freezes. It seems to stay frozen for about 5 minutes then I start getting messages like this: "ofwd_open: Could not open cd:0" and It will keep saying that. If I take the disc out, it immediately fails and says "Unable to load kernel!!!" or something along those lines. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to find anything on this. Thanks so much for any help anyone can offer. Brandon McWhirterhome | help
