Yes, sorry, I forgot the Discussed with: alc, dillon who have both seen a patch containing this (Tor may have looked at it too). These first few changes are fairly straightforward (assuming we are agreed on really wanting fully 64-bit object sizes of course), but if anyone else is interested in the details or would prefer patches posted on a list before being committed, just say so.
