By the way, libstdc++ has a slight deficiency in that it does not expose C99 macros in the global namespace if you include both the old-style header math.h and any of the new-style headers cmath, locale, complex, or valarray. I have discussed this issue with several gcc developers and hope to fix the problem shortly.
