Thank you for taking care of this pr!

For my use case mercurial 6.9.5 appears to work with Python 3.14 just fine if
the patch is applied. However, I just noticed that the "Release Notes" on
mercurial-scm.org list for 7.2rc0 as a new feature "Support for Python 3.14". I
have no idea what this means exactly, maybe it simply refers to the
hgdemandimport patch.
