Anyone know if you can make syslogd log its information to a specific
user on a different host? I have read the syslog.conf man page and have
successfully had one machine log its information to another machine's
syslog. What I am wanting to do with that, is have all the information
logged from that machine go to a specfic user on the remote machine.

Basically, it boils down to this: Can syslogd differentate between the
messages from the local machine and those from a different machine, and
send them to the appropriate users & log files?

Thanks,
Jim Riffle
