I've been installing ports lately instead of packages just for the heck of it. Compile optimizations seem to be out of my control with ports. Ilooked in /etc/make.conf /usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk and the individual make files associated with ports and I don't see anything about compile options. Am I missing something, or is this just the way it is? (It's probably a good idea to keep me from messing with this stuff anyway.) Greg
