I've got a promise ATA-66 controller. According to it's bios screen, the hard drives attached to it are UDMA-4 and the two CD-type devices are UDMA-2. All four devices are attached with ATA-66 cabling. I also have "hw.ata.atapi_dma=1" in loader.conf. I get the following probe: ad6: 39266MB <IBM-DTLA-305040> [79780/16/63] at ata3-master UDMA66 ad7: 39266MB <IBM-DTLA-305040> [79780/16/63] at ata3-slave UDMA66 acd0: DVD-ROM <TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M1502> at ata2-master using PIO4 acd1: CD-RW <CD-W512EB> at ata2-slave using PIO4 Is the driver possibly not recognising the UDMA2 state from the controller?
