What in the ports would be good suggestions from those here > who've used them? dovecot is excellent - easy setup, stable and reliable, provides IMAP and POP support and works well with e.g. squirrelmail. It's not as full featured as the Cyrus or courier IMAP servers, but if you don't need shared mailboxes etc, it's definitely worth a look.
