It would probably be a lot of work for somebody to merge 3.0-current with 3.0-stable considering the amount of work 3.0 needs before a 3.1 or 3.0.1 release, so don't expect a 3.0-current/3.0-stable split too soon. > I'm sure I probably would be more well informed had I been around during > the 1.0 to 2.0 transition. In fact 1.1.5.1 was the first version I installed. The process was quite a bit different back then, as development on 1.1.x had to abandoned for legal reasons.
