Upgraded to sendmail 8.9.3 and ever since the mailstats command has been
returning :
SEI{mailstats}# mailstats
mailstats: file size changed.
A man on mailstats says: Statistics
are cumulative; zero the statistics file to reset the counters.
So I attempt to delete and touch the /var/log/sendmail.st OR cat
/dev/null > /var/log/sendmail.st and
neither seems to work..../var/log/sendmail.st stays at 616 .....
I'd like to get mailstats working again....any suggestions?????
