Hi,
i just got an older 386 and tried FreeBSD on it,
when i got some unexpected Problems:
with the SNAP-0323 i got a kernel Trap while booting
the boot disk.
with the SNAP-0412 i got the following:
wd0: changing size of d from 10404 to 208696
(comment: it is a 102MB hard disk, with an 5 MB DOS Partition
for tests.)
WARNING no swap
Output=0 Inflate_error=2 igz.error=0 error2=0 where=0
exec /stand/sysinstall: error 8
init: not found
panic: no init
(rebooting ...)
Any suggestions ?
Thanks,
Jan
PS: i just compared the file (boot.flp) with that on the nearest
mirror-site (ftp.fb9dv.uni-duisburg.de).
they are identical!
