Hello, Some days ago i have reported that sound (which worked in FreeBSD-4.3-RELEASE) does not work in 4.4-RELEASE. I have cvsupped yesterday and i can now report that sound works again. BUT, it is killed by suspend-resume, and even hot booting does not restore sound functionality. This means that basically sound does not work for this laptop at present. The card is probed correctly at boot, but i get pcm0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead pcm0: <Neomagic 256AV (non-ac97)> at port 0x220-0x22f,0x530-0x537,0x388-0x38f,0x320-0x321 irq 5 drq 0,1 on isa0 Also, it is impossible to get the sound card probed by the sound modules. -- Michel Talon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
