Surely there must be a way to get this installation working without ripping the disk out of the laptop (a tedious operation). I tried manually mounting partitions from the fixit (floppy) shell. My new partitions are /dev/ad0s2a / /dev/ad0s2b swap /dev/ad0s2d /var /dev/ad0s2e /tmp /dev/ad0s2f /usr but when I issue 'mount /dev/ad0s2a /mnt', I get the message mount: /dev/ad0s2a: Operation not permitted Huh? -- Yours, Torfinn Ingolfsen, Norway
