No themes, > no other panels besides what GNOME creates. i believe you need to change your .xinitrc file to just contain the following line: gnome-session that will start gnome with the default window manager, and from there you can custom configure how you want everything to pop up. i'm guessing that your .xinitrc file currently looks something like this: gnome-session & exec enlightenment just a guess, but i had a similiar problem with afterstep and gnome.. removing the exec from the file solved the problem. - kevin To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
