Yes but it depends on what kind of router it is. ISPs arent the only ones using routers these days....for the corporate environment where traffic is relatively light, the ability to do other stuff is a big win. I'm not sure if you meant to imply that all corporate environments have light traffic loads. Let me be the first to assure you that it's NOT the case. Let me also point out that the corporate environment is the last place where you want to risk an unnecessary outage and the place where you really can afford more systems. It's the home environment where the budget is tight that could particularly benefit from this. But that also assumes that the cost of bandwidth to the home comes way down, ala @Home. Tony
