As has been mentioned before, the documentation group would be grateful
for any patches you'd like to submit.  In fact, someone even offered to
convert plain text from you into SGML and edit/commit it.

Perhaps you've lost sight of the fact that the whole FreeBSD project
is, outside of a very few guiding entities, done by volunteers.
So, if you see something you think is wrong, and you feel strongly
about it, volunteer.
