What kind of motherboards, cpu's? How much memory?
Something should go into the log if the kernel panics. The kernel
should catch any exceptions and log them. However, if some device
in the system pulls the RESET line low, that will cause the reboot.
Any interesting devices in the system?

What times does this occur? Could it be a power issue?

Do you have shell accounts on that machine ??
