Just upgraded my laptop from 4.0-RELEASE to 4.0-20000718-STABLE Couple of annoyances: (1) One of the /etc/rc* files was not updated, and as a result, the new source_rc_confs mechanism did not work. This in turn meant that most stuff in /etc/rc.conf was ignored after the reboot (e.g. I got the wrong keymap) Unfortunately, I can't remember _which_ /etc/rc* file it was that I had to manually copy from /etc/upgrade/ to /etc/ to fix this. I used cp -p, so the timestamp doesn't help me. Sorry :-( (2) /etc/mail/mailer.conf was zapped with a new copy (so my system started running sendmail instead of exim, yuk :-) I had to retrieve the correct one from /usr/tmp/etc/mail/ So far everything else seems OK...
