Same for me. When I switched from FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 to FreeBSD 2.X
(don't remember exactly the release), then the Xyplex Terminal
Server of my ISP simply hung (the whole t-server!). The problem could
be tracked down. So after disabling VJ compression completely on the
Xyplex for my machine (ppp account) cured the problem.
We didn't try -currents ppp vj compression 'til yet.
