Environment: karfagen# uname -a FreeBSD karfagen.mshome 7.2-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p2 #1: Wed Jul 29 10:01:55 NOVST 2009 smooky@karfagen.mshome:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/KARFAGEN i386 K Desktop Environment Version 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) At the some moment I would like have a sound in my FreeBSD. Try to install a sound: karfagen# kldload snd_driver ok. Take a look to console: pcm0: <Intel ICH7 (82801GB)> port 0xd000-0xd0ff,0xdb00-0xdb3f mem 0xd0101000-0xd01011ff,0xd0102 000-0xd01020ff irq 17 at device 30.2 on pci0 Write line to loader.conf: snd_ich_load="YES" Reboot. ok. Start X and KDE. ok. Open Konqueror or Firefox. ok. After 10-15 min browsers are crashed. And log: pid 4419 (kdeinit4), uid 1001: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) In the home dir I have kdeinit4.core large file. Open browsers again. After 10-15 min the same was happened. If I unload the sound driver all work ok. When I try to load sound driver again the same situation was repeated. Where could be I look to get more detailed info about it?
