Can you describe the problem a bit more please? Last time I checked the
SDL and Arnet/Digi cards did do HDLC. I even checked it against a real
although old Cisco. It does seem that Cisco changed their format a little
in recent IOS releases, but a fix for that was commited to -CURRENT and
2.2-STABLE in the beginning of August.

There is also the Arnet/Digi SYNC570i cards with a driver that is part
of FreeBSD, ar(4).
