Hi, im about to buy a sony vaio sr 33k laptop. It does not include a floppy
drive, and since i dont give it much importance im not caring about it.
However i was wondering if anybody out there has tried out this laptop with
FreeBSD.

If there´s someone out there, my q´s are:

- Does FreeBSD support the external CD-ROM drive, else i wont be able to
install it with no floppy drive, or not?

- Are there any obscure hardware issues with this laptop?

- The vendor site says it supports 800x600, will i be able to view a
1024x768 resolution?

Any advice, considerations, opinions, /etc.. are welcome,

thanks to all,
oscar
