[-- Attachment #1 --] Okay- I just read an interesting blurb that I cannot install the "/" filesystem on a vinum volume. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could do this without buying a Raid controller (this whole this started because I have a Compaq Smart 221 I couldn't get working under FreeBSD).
