I like this idea.  The splitting of the handbook down to either smaller 
books and/or articles would be very beneficial for most of the current 
readers and contributers.  Less to maintain, less to read, more specific 
documentation on various subjects.  This may even help to keep down the 
amount of mistakes.  This is something that I feel should be pushed, but 
lets hear more opinion...
