How about this?

Daemon silently walks up behind Eric and gives the "guru" a playful poke 
in the caboose with the ol' pitchfork. This causes guru to leap high in 
the air, hitting his head on an overhanging ledge. Guru falls back to 
Earth, and large lump sprouts from top of his head. Ledge then gradually
crumbles, burying still-dazed guru in rubble (except for the lump, which 
protrudes from top of heap).

Exit daemon stage right with an amused "Beep-beep!" ;-)
