This is probably the ADSL box causing collisions, but you should
be able to use tracert (traceroute) to check that nothing amazingly
stupid is happening.

I'd suggest contacting your service provider and asking for their
advice - its in their interest for you to keep local traffic off their
network. The `obvious' solution on their part is to allocate a subnet.

As I understand it, you are looking for a switching bridge to
sit between your hub and ADSL box, or to replace your hub with a
switch. I gather a 5 port switch is around 160.
