Unfortunately mine is, for an unkonwn reason, operating in "cardbus/laptop" mode as I had found out starting adding support to ata. Imho the linux driver did not handle that case either. I guess the el-cheapo card here has some "weired" wiring or missing a pull-up. I did investigate any further time on that 1500ct card. /bz -- Bjoern A.
