First, a Happy, wealthy & most of all HEALTHY New Year to everyone! Second, I'm shopping for a new 1.2-1.4 GHz Motherboard and looking at one of the makes that I have liked before, however, it now uses a chipset "MAGiK" I'not familiar with. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this one using FreeBSD? I'm using 4.4-stable with updates monthly...4.5 being next. Here's the chipset: "...The MAGiK 1 chipset is based on M1647 Northbridge and M1535D+ Southbridge chips. These chips incorporate funky-fresh features such as support for DDR memory at PC1600 and PC2100. Throw in ATA/100 and RAID support and AGP 4X and you've got a chipset that's ready to take on VIA's and Intel's best....." Any feedback appreciated! Best regards, Jack L.
