Hi, Every time after I install FreeBSD, I run 'portsnap fetch extract' to create the ports directory. But after a few days, my ports dir and the latest ports dir begin to differ and the latest changes in the latest ports dir do not reflect in my ports hierarchy even after I run 'portsnap update'. The only way I can get the latest ports dir is to 'rm -rf /usr/ports' and recreate the ports hierarchy all over again. What am I doing wrong on account of which my ports hierarchy is not in sync with the latest changes ? Thanks for any help. Manish Jain
