I do not have as sophisticated a setup as you, but I had something similar
happen with my SAS3816. The issue had to do with the device mappings. See t=
he
discussion of hw.mpr.use_phy_num in the mpr man page. For me,
hw.mpr.use_phy_num=3D-1 fixed the issue.
