I missed the beginning of this thread but did follow the link to the Tecra 750. I am running FreeBSD on my Tecra 740. Everything works (even a 16 bit per pixel XFree86 server @ 1024x768)) except for the 3com 3c589. I booted FreeBSD and the NVRAM in the card was destroyed but that is another story. I am using an IBM Ethernet card without problems. What is different about the Tecra 750 that prevents FreeBSD from running on it? michael
