I like the following fonts a lot.
XTerm*font: -b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
XTerm*font3: -b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-*-*-*-100-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
If you put this in ~/.Xresources and then add to your ~/.xinitrc the
following:
xrdb -merge "${HOME}/.Xresources"
Your xterms will start by default using XTerm*font and the 'small'
variant (can be chosen by CTRL + RightClick) is the XTerm*font3 font.
Of course this is clearly a matter of taste and personal preference,
and yours may vary a lot.
