I made the boot disk successfully, booted my system, and got through all the installation menus. But I am getting the following problems in the final installation with the boot disk. When the program gets to the part of giving the following message "Logging in to anonymous@ftp.freebsd.org.." it hangs there a while, and inevitably it will come back with the message "Couldn't open FTP connection to ftp.freebsd.org: Service not available, closing control connection" This happened with many other different sites available in the menu option. First of all, is the self-install program doing the right thing by logging in as "anonymous@ftp.freebsd.org"? Should I (or can I) change any of the login commands? Help, I'm stuck with a non-working system, and will appreciate any feedback! regards sfque
