Well I don't know what it is, but 1mbit was back again. I did some magic, changed my channel from 5 to 6, stopped and stared wlan0 and it went back into the 48 54 range. BTW I am pasting part of the log in case it is any help Apr 5 23:56:19 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR decreasing rate 72 (txcnt=122 retrycnt=43) Apr 5 23:56:25 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR increasing rate 96 (txcnt=140 retrycnt=11) Apr 5 23:56:38 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR increasing rate 108 (txcnt=130 retrycnt=12) Apr 5 23:56:51 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR decreasing rate 96 (txcnt=130 retrycnt=58) Apr 5 23:56:54 LGX sudo: alakazam : TTY=pts/0 ; PWD=/usr/home/alakazam ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/sbin/ifconfig -ht Apr 5 23:56:55 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR increasing rate 108 (txcnt=137 retrycnt=8) Apr 5 23:57:25 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR decreasing rate 96 (txcnt=137 retrycnt=47) Apr 5 23:57:32 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR increasing rate 108 (txcnt=124 retrycnt=11) Apr 5 23:58:00 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR decreasing rate 96 (txcnt=14 retrycnt=7) Apr 5 23:58:02 LGX kernel: wlan0: [28:16:2e:da:02:f9] AMRR increasing rate 108 (txcnt=21 retrycnt=0) Also, is there a way to force 54mbits? I don't care for the extra little power it takes. I am disappointed, because I got the 3x3 antenna to avoid issues like this. Looks like I should have opted for the webcam. -- Lyubomir Grigorov (bgalakazam)
