There was a thing in the us a while back (i'm sure people on the list will
know more), where there was a volunteer effort to wire up local schools with
cat 5, i remember comming accross several web sites with *very* good
instructions on how to do all the hole drilling etc.

(I think it was called 'network day' or something).
