Yuji.T:
 | I found a problem of FXTV with XF86_S3V server in fxtv-0.47 (or higher)
 | and just patched a file.
 | Using ViREGE card, TV and capture's screen appeared out of frame.

Interesting. May be a VIRGE/DX feature. I have a Virge/VX card and
don't have this problem with the S3V or SVGA servers.

Did the video frame seem expanded in the horizontal direction? If so,
try:

fxtv -xrm "Fxtv.Bpp24bit: 3" -xrm "Fxtv.Bpp32bit: 3"

without your patch. If the 3's don't work, try 4's. It's 3's on my
Virge/VX.

 | Sorry if fixed in the latest version because my system could not
 | compile it.
 |
 |I tested out :
 | - AVerMedia TV-Phone (Philips FR1236 NTSC FM tuner)
 | - S3 ViRGE/DX (generic)
 | - fxtv-0.47 (without ports)
 | - bt848.980519.tgz (I failed to utilise the latest driver.)
 | - XF86_S3V and XF86_SVGA on FreeBSD/2.2.6-Release (Not stable)

Using an old driver may be part of your problems (e.g. your not getting
audio). Try the latest driver and fxtv. The attached patch is probably
all you need for fxtv. I'll put this in the next version.

Randall
