[-- Attachment #1 --] Next time, include a subject... :) Most likely you were doing some kind of dual boot thing for FreeBSD. You should try a program like partition magic to reclaim your lost space. If you plan to reinstall FreeBSD, don't worry about it, you'll get your diskspace back when FreeBSD makes its partitions. 4 meg isn't much anyhow... I'm sure you can live without it for a little while... -Beastie ----- Original Message ----- From: justwondering To: freebsd-newbies@FreeBSD.org Sent: Friday, January 21, 2000 9:19 PM Sorry to be a pest but I was wondering, after I tried to install FreeBSD I had a bit of trouble and figured I would put windows (shiver) back on to check my mail and go back on the web for more information. I notice that now when I boot my PC a black screen appears that says F1 DOS, and I am missing about 4 meg from the HDD, How do I reclaim this space. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to try to install FreeBSD again and for good when I do away with the win modem.
