If you plan to reinstall FreeBSD, don't worry about it, you'll = get your diskspace back when FreeBSD makes its partitions. 4 meg isn't = much anyhow... I'm sure you can live without it for a little while... -Beastie ----- Original Message -----=20 From: justwondering=20 To: freebsd-newbies@FreeBSD.org=20 Sent: Friday, January 21, 2000 9:19 PM Sorry to be a pest but I was wondering, after I tried to install = FreeBSD I had a bit of trouble and figured I would put windows (shiver) = back on to check my mail and go back on the web for more information. I = notice that now when I boot my PC a black screen appears that says F1 = DOS, and I am missing about 4 meg from the HDD, How do I reclaim this = space. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to try to = install FreeBSD again and for good when I do away with the win modem. =20 Regards Gene ------=_NextPart_000_0008_01BF6468.13279200 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2614.3500" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Next time, include a subject... = :)</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Most likely you were doing some kind of = dual boot=20 thing for FreeBSD.
