            Bug ID: 292975
           Summary: devel/spago: Moved from hs-spago, but devel/Makefile
                    not updated
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: haskell@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: bob@vesterman.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(haskell@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: haskell@FreeBSD.org

The port devel/hs-spago was recently renamed to devel/spago, but devel/Makefile
was not updated along with this change (neither by removing devel/hs-spago nor
by adding devel/spago). This is causing all builds to fail for me, as I use
Synth, which (by design) does not try to build anything if there's an error
encountered while scanning the ports tree.

To be clear, I don't mean "the devel/spago build fails". I don't use
devel/spago, and I did not use devel/hs-spago; in fact I don't even remember
having ever heard of them before. I mean *all* builds of *all* ports are
aborted when Synth finds an error while parsing the ports tree.

See also bug #292941, which is the same thing, but prefixed with
"devel/hs-spago". The "maintainer feedback" of that one is therefore set to an
apparently Haskell-related account, but the whole point of the change seems to
have been that spago is no longer written in Haskell. So, I'm submitting this
bug, and prefixing it with devel/spago in the hopes that the "maintainer
feedback" might be more appropriate. My apologies if this is not how this
should be done.
