a few months ago I would have disagreed with you as I have had fabulous
experience with ABIT over approximately 25 or so workstations and servers...
recently have experienced failure in 3 ABIT BF6 motherboards..  which either
simply stopped being responsive (no POST at all), or alarmed without POSTing
(while impossible to be temperature replated).  Have 1 more of this model in
production... and it is slated for replacement this weekend before we have
another inopportune failure.

As such, I would agree,  stay away from ABIT, or at the least, buyer beware...
there evidently is a lifespan ofsome fo the componants. :(
