Does anyone know if any of these tuners will work with FreeBSD? I saw
something about the DViCO fusion 5, but it seems only the 7 is available now.
Also, no place I'm comfortable with sells DViCO cards.
PCI
1) Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600
* a Maxlinear tuner and the Microtune MT2131 tuner
* Samsung S5H1409/Conexant CX24227 digital demodulator
* Cirrus Logic CS.... (audio ADC)
* Conexant CX23418 A/V Decoder, MPEG-2 Encoder & PCI bridge
* ESMT
*Quite a few potentials use ATI tuners, which I did not list, as it seems
those use binary drivers from ATi, unlikely to work in FreeBSD
PCI-e
1) Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1800
* NXP/Philips TDA18271 (tuner for analog)
* Microtune MT2131 (tuner for digital)
* NXP/Philips TDA8295 (analog IF demodulator)
* Samsung S5H1409/Conexant CX24227 (digital demodulator)
* Conexant CX23417 (MPEG-2 encoder)
* Elpida (RAM)
* Conexant CX23887 (A/V Decoder & PCIe bridge)
2) Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1250
* ? (tuner for analog ... likely a NXP/Philips TDA18271)
* Microtune MT2131 (tuner for digital)
* NXP/Philips TDA8295 (analog IF demodulator)
* Samsung S5H1409/Conexant CX24227 (digital demodulator)
* Conexant CX23887 (A/V Decoder & PCIe bridge)
Thanks!
