Hi, I just got two IBM NetXtreme fiber adapters and have had no luck in getting them to work. When booting I get the following: bge0: <Broadcom BCM5703X Gigabit Ethernet> mem 0xeffe0000-0xeffeffff irq 10 at device 5.0 on pci1 bge0: Ethernet address: 00:10:18:00:52:99 miibus2: <MII bus> on bge0 ukphy0: <Generic IEEE 802.3u media interface> on miibus2 ukphy0: 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX If I'm not mistaken this should use brgphy like the other Broadcom adapters, would it be a hard job to add support for this card? I know some C myself but am not that experienced with kernel stuff so please help if possible. pciconf -lv gives me this for the card: none1@pci1:5:0: class=0x020000 card=0x000a14e4 chip=0x16a714e4 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Broadcom Corporation' device = 'BCM5703X Gigabit Ethernet' class = network subclass = ethernet I can provide access to a test machine with this adapter if someone is willing to do the work. Please Cc me as I'm not on the hardware list. /Oli -- Olafur Osvaldsson Systems Administrator Internet a Islandi hf.
