Hi, i have some problems with gated and isppp (isdn4bsd-0.51). I want isppp0 to act as an interface (like ed0). This works for user-ppp and tun0. For isppp0 gated claims, that isppp0 is an bogus interface and logs: EVENT <UpDown> isppp0 index 6 <PointToPoint Simplex> KRT RECV MSG 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 router #6 isppp0 flags <DONE STATIC>10840: ignoring bogus When configuring isppp0 prior to gated-startup as follows: ifconfig isppp0 inet 0.0.0.0 a.b.c.d netmask 0xffffff00 link1 ifconfig isppp0 up gated logs: gated[67]: rt_add: interface not found for a.b.c.d/255.255.255.255 gw 0.0.0.0 Kernel gated[67]: KRT READ REMNANT a.b.c.d router 0.0.0.0 flags <UP HOST>5: queueing delete for rt_add() failure Since gated can not find the interface (isppp0), it is not possible to configure static routes with gated that involve isppp0. This is with FreeBSD-2.2.6 and AVM-Fritz!Card. Did anyone else had more luck configuring static routes with isppp and gated ? Thanks in advance for all your help.
