The main thing that triggered my commit was that I was trying to do a
cleanup pass over the old isa drivers, and the voxware code kept jumping up
and making it Needlessly Painful (TM).  For example, one driver has got
magic values to spam into the pnp config space, which was fundamentally
incompatable with the isa/pnp system.  Another tried to manually do a PnP
configuration run.  (both drivers are present and operational in newpcm).
