	Hello Michael,

cdrom.com actually runs a custom version of ftp daemon
hacked^H^H^H^H^H written by David Greenman:

530-(220 wcarchive.cdrom.com FTP server (Version DG-2.0.12 Tue Mar 24
                                                ^^^^

Why bother with something untested (new, alpha and secure on one
line?)
I would also consider it a spam to nanog list, since I am confused
as to what ftp daemons have to do with routers and internet backbones? But
inet-access would be much more appropriate (if they allow such
announcements at all)
Cheers,
