you are correct, the clone card has a built in mitsumi/sony interface. There
are so many different soundblasters, I thought he had one with a mitsumi
interface.

I would venture to guess that putting the sound wire to a standard sound blaster
and the data line to a seperate mitsumi card would work. the mitsumi card would
issue the start/stop/seek as well as the ISO data commands, and the soundcard
would handle the audio same as with the scsi.
